Just a little too short for only one night haha I would need an extra night at least! an amazing hotel, with an excellent view of the Mont Blanc (specially from the jacuzzi). The room vas very comfortable, the shower excellent, the stuff was nice and helpful, the hotel provides you with a free card for the local bus (which we didn't use, because we had our car). The breakfast was really good, and love the common room. The parking is for free :)

I like that my spacious room was really clean and fresh when I checked in. The crisp white towels and amenities in a well sanitized bathroom are always a plus. The view from my room and the gushing sound from the river outside made my stay more relaxing. The breakfast at 12 euros was well worth it compared to outside since it made me really full for the rest of the day. The location is perfect since it's just a few steps away from the city center and just a good 6-minute walk from the bus station. Wifi worked well, and Alex at the Front Desk was really kind, gleeful, and helpful.

The month of May is not a good time to visit.
The month of May is not a good time to visit. The snow has gone but summer is not here yet. In this twilight zone between winter and summer it is just one of many tourist towns that is instantly forgettable. We regret we didn’t stay just across the border in Martigny which has so much culture that is completely lacking in Chamonix. The only visitors to this town seemed to be bucket-price tour groups from the far east.

I am slightly disabled in that my mobility is restricted by arthritis. Chamonix is a beautiful town in itself but it can be difficult to get around at night.I wanted to check out the live music scene but had real difficulty with transport.Although it is free,or cheap all day it is nearly impossible to get a taxi (unless I have been calling the wrong numbers!).I was told by some locals that they are tied up doing airport runs, how true this is I don't know. I think if you have similar problems then book a long time ahead or online.Otherwise the place is brilliant you have breathtaking views of the high mountains above, alpine meadows and a town that wants for nothing. It is easy to visit Les houches Argentiere and all the beautiful ski areas, even if you can't ski there are mountain railways and cable cars. Expensive but well with it. It is becoming my second home now.

A many time visitor, easy to get about on buses or train and some of the best off-piste there is anywhere. Looking forward to the re-opening of the top cable car so the biggest / best runs will be accessible once again. The style and the location : This hotel is right in the middle of everything. I loved the fact that when you go out, you find yourself directly in the lively charming center of Chamonix with all the boutiques and restaurants and sportsshops. The hotel is beautiful, really, with a 19th century charm. Exceptional service from the staff. The suite Mont-Blanc is amazing, all new, perfect decoration. The spa was a little too small to our taste but was not busy when we were there, so it was fine. Such a good energy. We will be staying there again !
The location is perfect—steps away from the heart of the town or a short walk to mountain trails. Restaurants are as close as next door or all over the village.
We especially enjoyed the river out our door, fabulous mountain views and a garden courtyard to enjoy our coffee and croissants in the morning. Having a coffee and water machine available 24/7 was a nice plus. And our reception hostess (from Ireland) couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful!
While the facility isn’t a 4 or 5 star place, it’s a great place to stay!
I loved the cozy feeling this hotel gave. While being cozy, it was also clean tidy and not run-down. The single room I booked had a decent bathroom (toilet separate from shower), a comfortable bed, and a balcony with views of Mont Blanc.
Downstairs there was a nice lounge and the lobby with direct access to the restaurant/pub next door, however there are many other better options for food in Chamonix.
From the moment we walked in we were absolutely delighted!
The location was 5 stars, ideal location to walk to skiing, the room was very comfortable and I actually think their pictures don’t do the room justice because it is roomy and cozy. Jacuzzi and sauna was exactly what we needed every night.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Good mattresses. Easy walk to Chamonix Sud (10 min) and Centre (5 min) for bus access to skiing. Easy walk (4 min) to shopping, restaurants and food stores. Delish breakfast. Heated air boot dryers in the ski room. Bar lounge with fireplace and cozy sitting area.
It is great to have an on-site parking. The hotel is very central and we could walk around the beautiful Chamonix without worrying about the car. The staffs are also very helpful and friendly. The view from the room was also stunning. Will happily stay again next time we are in Chamonix.
Great location and beautiful hotel. They offered great services such as drop off pick up at the ski resort and ski rental help. The staff were very nice and professional. Also has a good bar and restaurant, and the fireplace in the lobby is very cozy.
Fantastic view from sunny balcony in a calm part of Chamonix but still close to town. To little snow in April but otherwise ski in ski out. Very good value for money. Everything you needed (we did however not cook any food). Nice landlord.
The hotel has stylish facilities, the best chalet-style hotel in Chamonix with great people visiting it. The rooms were clean and the spa was absolutely amazing - won't ever forget swimming with a stunning view on Mont Blanc.
The breakfast was nice.
The view from the room was amazing.
The staff were kind.
There is a ski rental shop in the hotel,
The bus station for the lifts and the city center are very close.
Older, charming hotel, completely refurbished with modern comforts but maintaining rustic style touches. The owner hosts are charming and engaged. Comfortable room. Location is fantastic.
this property feels like 4-5 stars. amazing staff. can’t recommend enough! the rooms are lovely and hotel is bang on the bus stop that goes to the ski lift. good value for money
